The Role

As an Intermediate Front-End Developer at First Table, you’ll work closely with our talented team to shape the future of our unique booking platform. You’ll apply your expertise in front-end technologies to craft user-friendly interfaces that seamlessly connect with major restaurant reservation systems via our integrated API.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain UI components using React and Tailwind.
• Implement responsive and visually appealing web applications using the latest front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into engaging user interfaces.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance system functionality and user satisfaction.
• Stay current with emerging trends in front-end development and share insights with the team.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Front End Developer, with a focus on building captivating user interfaces.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, Typescript and Tailwind.
• Experience with responsive design principles and optimising applications for various devices and screen sizes.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to translate design wireframes into functional code.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
• A genuine interest in the hospitality industry, and passionate about enhancing dining experiences through technology.
