The Role 

We are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining web applications, working across both frontend and backend technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to build scalable and high-performing applications.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, MySQL, and GraphQL.
• Build user-friendly frontend interfaces with React and Next.js.
• Design and implement efficient database structures to optimise performance.
• Work with APIs and backend services to ensure seamless data integration.
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Utilise best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance development processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with GraphQL for efficient data fetching and management.
• Strong frontend development skills using React and Next.js.
• Understanding of best practices in performance optimisation and security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• A passion for building high-quality applications.

Bonus Skills

Experience in some or all of the following would be advantageous:

• Silverstripe CMS development.
• Firebase, particularly Realtime Database.
• Mobile development with React Native/Expo.
• Monitoring and performance optimisation with New Relic.
• AWS CLI/API, including SMS, SQL, and CloudFront.
• UI development with Tailwind.
