Ed Street

A new and welcome addition to Pukekohe's dining scene, Ed Street (Edinburgh Street if you're feeling particularly formal), is warming the hearts of South Aucklanders with cheat-day eats, sports screens and a jovial atmosphere.

Taking pride of place in The Old Fire Station, this eatery boasts an incredibly spacious dining hall that is a magnet for the socialites, the partygoers and those in search of a good feed. A wonderful mixing pot of people, Ed Street is always full of life and laughter. Bring your pals, your family and that awkward first date; you're bound to get into the groove before too long.

Packed with soul food and comforting pub grub, the menu serves smiles as well as familiar flavours. Think slow-braised beef cheek with velvety pomme purée, NZ's famous lamb shank with pumpkin mash and the stickiest BBQ pork rib with hand-cut wedges. We recommend a napkin or two for that one!

As well as that you have classic Italian flavours with their range of pizzas and pasta dishes. But it's not all naughty-but-nice food; with a nice selection of salad bowls, the health-conscious amongst you are in good hands. And for the vegetarians?
