Open for business at The Heritage Hotel, this restaurant, cafe and bar are modern and relaxed, enjoying a slick, open plan design that is in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Come with friends or lovers and enjoy the very best of German beer, food and hospitality.

When it comes to the food, the Wurst (sausage) steals the show. Coming in all kinds of moreish sauces and with a range of hearty accompaniments, you can have yours with curry sauce alongside fried potatoes, sauerkraut, kransky or a chewy pretzel. As for the sausage itself, you might have to order in the Sausage Trio to discover the delights that are the pork, jalapeno and smoked bratwurst.

Other Deutsche delicacies include the all-famous schnitzel. Traditionally made with pork and covered with breadcrumbs, have it the German way with chips and mushroom sauce, or have it the Viennese way with beef and a rich beer sauce. And whilst you're at it, add on some onion rings, jalapeno cheese balls and chicken bites to your feast, order in another round of beers and say 'Prost' to another excellent find in Auckland!
