In Indian culture Raja means King. How appropriate, then, that each and every diner at Raja's Indian Restaurant is treated like royalty.
Botany's favourite spot for mind-blowing flavours in a friendly yet glamorous setting, Raja's has the whole town talking. Boasting a very smart bistro with a chorus of pristine white tablecloths, bamboo and wicker textures and tables of all shapes and sizes, Raja's can be anything you want it to be. Effortlessly stylish with a hint of the sunny tropics here and there, enjoy the royal treatment from a cosy corner with that special someone or on a group table with the whole gang.
And like any royal banquet, the options are endless. Just about every curry you can think of is there, like your favourite chicken madras', vindaloos and bhunas, as well as a delightful range of lamb and beef dishes. From Punjab comes the chicken amritsari, from Chennai the lamb madras and from Northern India is the lamb and beef korma. Seafood also gets a look-in with the creamy fish malabari, butter prawn and the universally-loved Goan fish curry.
Finally, what kind of banquet wouldn't cater to our vegetarian friends? Sumptuous, nutritious and delicious, each dish is spiced to perfection to elevate humble vegetables and ingredients to new heights. You'll find creamy paneer in tikka masalas, masalas and palaks whilst lentils are simmered and stewed to create warming daals that nourish the body and soul. Pair your dish with any of their enormous tandoori breads that come bearing delicious toppings and fillings, or keep it simple with a plain naan and plenty of mango chutney! We could get used to the Raja's life!
