Both single-minded and obsessive about the provision of exceptional New Zealand produce, the namesake eatery symbolises the partnership of the chef and restaurateur in the hospitality business.

Inside, exposed sleek concrete hive the open kitchen, providing a comfortable, earthy heart to proceedings. With a philosophy to always go for a sustainable, seasonal, organic, bio-dynamic approach to their wine list there are always heaps of interesting wines to be poured.

The 8-course set menu dining experience changes frequently. With local producers and growers playing a large part in the kitchen’s procurement process, creativity is encouraged by the changing larder: “There will always be new and exciting ingredients you’ve never heard of or tasted before, so trust us to find a way to let you enjoy these wonderful ingredients”.
