La Fourchette, or ‘the fork’ is a contemporary seaside French brasserie offering classic French fare with a modern twist.
Owners Natalie and Romain Le Gal were inspired to open a French local in the neighbourhood where Natalie grew up. Romain is originally from the French coastal town of Pornichet and welcomed the opportunity to open a family-friendly neighbourhood brasserie reminiscent of those he worked in back home.
The team includes in-house Chef Pâtissier Pierre Roth, who creates authentic flaky pastries that’ll have you dreaming of France. On the main menu, you’ll find delicious potato terrine, market fish with roasted cauliflower and cassoulet served with sourdough. There’s also a range of French-inspired pizzas and delicious galettes.
The drinks menu is also très French and features a selection of European beers, French ciders, wines and cocktails.
