Set apart from the hustle and bustle of the city on Papanui Road, The Brewers boast a distinct, somewhat grand building that houses all their regulars with ease. The spacious dining room is always abuzz with happy munchers, the bar is always chock-a-bloc with after-work swifties and the patio always a hotbed of fun and summery activity during the hotter months. Their serene pond and surrounding green also offer nature lovers a much-needed breather from the city.

The menu is composed of two of our favourite cheat-day eats. Burgers and pizzas rule the roost over here with a stellar range of juicy patties and signature pizzas you're not going to find elsewhere. Let's start with the burgers where the special Brewers Burger boasts all the delicious, oozy mess of beef patties combined with crispy salad, melted cheese and lashings of aioli and BBQ sauce. Don't forget their chicken and veggie and vegan iterations too!

The pizzas are more adventurous, with options ranging from the classic margherita to the almighty big smoke with heaps of succulent smoked meats. Wash it down with any household names on tap and head to the sports screens to cheer on your team. Someone's got to do it!
