Bridging the gap between generations, visitors and locals in Prebbleton, The Bridge Bar & Eatery are open for business again after a massive refurb.

And they're looking so fine! After a huge restoration project that saw the whole place practically being rebuilt, The Bridge is happy to welcome back diners once more. They look every inch a New Zealand institution from the outside with their picturesque villa and white picket fences. Indeed, it's hard not to be drawn in by their idyllic charm and once inside, you're treated to a modern pub setup that's warm, comfortable and stylish. Yes, they might be a pub, but that hasn't stopped them from putting their own rather lavish spin on things.

The menu, however, delves into the comfort eats that pubs are so adored for. We're off to a strong start with a delicious trio of burgers that treat diners to Mexican chicken, black bean patties and smoky beef brisket. Then there are the pizzas that play it safe with Meatlovers, Hawaiian and Margherita.

Other mains offer up pub classics in the form of juicy steak sandwiches, chicken schnitzel, fish & chips and steaks. And you can always count on them to make a whopping good apple crumble, no matter the time of year. A pub menu isn't complete without it! After all their renovation work, you can see that The Bridge hasn't lost its taste for good food with great company.
