If you love dining out as much as we do, many of your most treasured memories will revolve around spending time with friends and family in your favourite restaurants. These businesses have been with us through first dates, birthdays and breakups - but it’s a tough time for the hospitality industry right now and they need our support to continue putting joy on a plate.

That’s why we’re inviting foodies to show their love for hospitality by taking a few easy steps that make a difference in these tough times.

How can you support NZ hospitality?

1) Treat yourself and dine out a little more often

If you ever needed an excuse to not pack tomorrow's work lunch, here it is! The best thing you can do is get off the couch, support local restaurants, and enjoy yourself while you're at it.

2) Invite the whole crew and make it an occasion

Scale up the spontaneity and invite your crew for a cheeky mid-week dining extravaganza. What better excuse to spend time with friends, family or workmates than supporting local restaurants. 

3) Sneak in a drink (or three)

Drink sales are vital to a restaurant's bottom line, so why not grab an extra coffee or cheeky glass of vino if you can. 

4) Been WOW-ed by an experience? Tell the world!
