New Plymouth’s own American-style burger bar, Prohibition Burgers & Hooch on Brougham Street, is known for its fantastic burgers and tasty side dishes.

Open for dinner and drinks all year round with the addition of lunch in the Summer months, the restaurant has a modern atmosphere with funky décor; perfect for groups or parties.

Favourites include the deep fried chicken burger, the double beef patty burger with lashings of mustard and the sweet potatoes fries with Jamaican jerk seasoning and curry mango mayonnaise. There’s also a great range of food for the little ones on the kids’ menu.
