Sitting pretty opposite the Intercontinental Hotel in the CBD, Arabica Cafe is a favourite with business brunchers, midday munchers and lazy lunchers. Cruise on by for great food and some of the city's best coffee!
Informal and relaxed, Arabica is all about that chilled midday mood. Like any great Kiwi cafe, there's a huge deli stuffed with freshly baked treats, an eternally hospitable barista and that unmistakable sense of home. And seeing as it occupies one of the busiest spots on Grey Street, their street-side tables are always alive with the capital's comings and goings.
So, what kind of mood are you in? Feeling brunchy or positively lunchy? If it's the former, have your fill of the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, creamy mushrooms on toast or their hearty omelettes. Alternatively, go all out with the almighty Arabica breakfast that's loaded with bacon, Kransky sausage, hash browns and just about everything else.
The lunch menu is also a treat. Say good afternoon to hearty grilled sandwiches, chicken and beef burgers, the risotto of the day and a range of vibrant salads that'll blow your socks off. Finally, pay the seductive deli a visit, steaming cup of coffee in hand, and take on the rest of the afternoon European style!
