Upbeat blue chairs sit alongside sand-coloured tables and cream walls in a dining room so spacious you could swing a sealion! (Such behaviour is not encouraged)

The dinner menu heralds seasonal ingredients prepared simply, and given its location, you can't go wrong with some seafood. Begin your summer vacation with some of NZ's finest green lip mussels in a stunning white wine sauce or their creamy seafood chowder that comes with a bread roll to soak up every last drop.

Sail into the main course with the fish of the day or salmon fillet. Alternatively, land onshore for some rolled pork belly, braised lamb shank or vegetable fettuccine.
