Close to Massey University and just five minutes’ walk to North Harbour Stadium, the Gourmet Pizza Kitchen has been feeding locals since 2008. The large bar and restaurant sits up to 120 within and boasts a large beer garden with seating for up to 50.

The relaxed, informal restaurant is great for drinks and pizzas with friends. The extensive menu offers pizzas to die for with a selection of bases and toppings. They’re cooked in a custom-built wood-fire oven that reaches temperatures of more than 600°C. Sink your teeth into the thin-crust New Yorker with pepperoni, oregano and mozzarella or the exotic Bombay Tandoori chicken with cashews, banana, yoghurt and mango chutney, served on a traditional style base.

Alternatively, select a dish from the ‘Favourites’ menu, where there’s a chicken burger, seared squid and chorizo salad and a mean seared linguine with fresh chilli and shallots that’s sure to get your mouth watering.
