Love chicken? Who doesn’t? Completely free-range, organic and delicious, this eatery in Frankton is having diners fall in love with the world's best cheat treat all over again.

At Love Chicken, they're not chickening out when it comes to sourcing the very best locally and ethically produced produce. All their chicken is organic and sourced from Bostock's in Hawke's Bay, and the accompanying chippies are made using potatoes grown here in South Island. Yes, it might be an American invention, but this is NZ on a plate. And a happy, organic NZ too! All of it's primed to be enjoyed in their stylish cafe that overlooks the Remarkables.

On the menu is our favourite chicken in many different forms. First and foremost are the chicken burgers, which go above and beyond the usual with a vast range of fried, grilled and gluten-free burger options; we are SO ready for cheat day! From the simplicity of the classic burger to the hearty love me mac & cheesy burger, it is a challenge to choose.

And that's not all; the chicken wings have bagged their rightful place on the menu too, regular or spicy. And if you're not in for a carb-loading session, you can enjoy their excellent chicken and salad options. Karma Organic soft drinks, Duck Island ice cream sandwiches, beer and wine are all served with love, so there’s never a time not to love chicken!!
