Póg Mahone's has been the Irish heart of Queenstown since 1998. The Kiwi and Irish owners wanted a truly authentic Irish atmosphere, so had the entire pub designed and built in Ireland, then shipped over. It’s your little slice of Ireland next to the Southern Alps.

The food is a blend of classic Kiwi and Irish cuisine. Try the signature beef and Guinness pie, the hearty Irish stew or tuck into something from the stone grill. Burgers and fresh salads feature on this varied menu too. There’s certainly something for everyone.

If you still have space for dessert after these hearty meals then, then get stuck into the chocolate brownie, a mouthwatering delicious banoffee pie or the classic sticky toffee pudding.
