This relaxed bistro in Wellington’s leafy Plimmerton is the first place locals go when looking for a unique night out. Not only is the atmosphere always buzzing, they also recommend a matching vodka for every meal so you can have a truly authentic Polish experience.

The menu is comprised of only the best, freshest ingredients made with flair to satisfy even the most discerning taste buds.

Expect comforting plates such as feta and potato dumplings, fresh seafood and beef tenderloin to name just a few. If you only try one thing, make it ‘bigos and bread’, a slow-cooked stew that has become Poland’s national dish because it is so delicious.

Now for the drinks. There are several Kiwi wines and classic cocktails to choose from, but the real focus here is imported Polish, Russian, Czech, Dutch and Italian beers and the extensive vodka menu.
