Whether you're on your bike or not, Get Fixed Bicycle Cafe is a wheely great spot for breakfast or lunch.

Sure, you might get a few raised eyebrows at the suggestion, but your dining partners will soon realise that Get Fixed have all the gear and all the ideas! Combining all the craftsmanship of the bike workshop with the culinary craftsmanship of the cafe, this is a multifunctional space with a difference. Over in Upper Hut, they're reflecting their seasonal, local approach to food with a leafy interior that is bright, sunny and informal. It's the perfect place to put your feet up after a ride... or not. It's not a prerequisite!

Regardless, you can count on them to fix you up a substantial brekky that'll see you safely through to lunch and beyond. They've made breakfast bagels their specialty with fillings like bacon & eggs, smoked salmon and cream cheese, and crispy bacon with an onion jam. Add to that a breakfast burger with a beef patty paired with bacon, eggs and hollandaise, and our favourite cheat day eat just got morning appropriate.

As for lunch, even more bagels emerge encasing crispy kimchi cauliflower, nutty falafel with micro greens and sun-dried tomatoes, and southern fried chicken. They're also following those up with lunchtime burgers that play with beef patties, southern fried chicken and halloumi. As for those who want to keep it light and healthy, a nutritious salad will do just the trick. Now, one last super berry smoothie or Malborough Chardonnay and it's it's on your bike for the next adventure.
