A breezy, turquoise bach on Bucklands Beach, Zabr’one is a welcome respite from the sensory overload that is central Auckland. A stone’s throw away from the ocean, allow this eatery to soothe and replenish with Mediterranean eats.
The mesmerisingly blue ocean on one side and Zabr’one’s cheery appearance on the other, it's impossible to feel blue here. For panoramic views, there’s no better spot than their friendly patio. If the weather isn’t playing fair, hunker down inside for the ultimate cosy café vibe.
It’s been said that sunsets go best with fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas and oozing burgers. Well, that’s what we say at least, and we fancy ourselves the philosophers of tomorrow. But seriously, evenings are best spent over a bowl of fettucini, slurpy spaghetti and Neopolitan pizzas topped with all kinds of exciting flavours.
In addition, some of our favourite Kiwi eats line the menu with the Jack Daniels pork ribs, the slow-cooked lamb shank and the eternally delicious crispy-on-the-outside-soft-on-the-inside pork belly. Evenings are as endless as the sea in Zabr'one's neck of the woods.
