Completely plant-based and vegan, you could be excused for thinking that Kaiaroha Vegan Deli are magicians of the highest order. Indeed, their Kaiaroha Tree nut cheeses, cakes and brekkies are the stuff of legends.

And it's all thanks to NZ's first ever six Greenstar sustainable building! This groovy spot, located on Parnell Road, enjoys a spacious set-up with glass walls that let in every last ray of sunlight. Needless to say, it's a fantastic spot for breakfast for all of you who need to photosynthesise before waking up properly. And their clean, nutritious food will put the wind in your sails in no time.

As the sun rises, uncurl your petals with a lean breakfast that'll restore and energise you without that sluggish feeling. Vegan eggs are the talk of the town, especially when popped on toasted ciabatta with Kaiaroha baycon and hollandaise sauce. These eggies are also the star of the omelette show, loaded with mushrooms, cashew nut cheese and olives.

For those with a sweet tooth, look no further than the kumara waffles with a chocolate sauce, coconut whipped cream and zingy cherry coulis. Alternatively, their French toast takes the classic brekkie staple to a new level with a poached pear and lemon cheesecake whip. All vegan of course. But you knew that already.
