An intimate eatery with a big heart, Monkey Farm is the sort of place everyone wishes they had in their ’hood.

Comfy chairs pulled up beside a cosy fire and an enormous beer garden filled with squishy bean bags mean this spot works as well in winter as it does in summer. Whatever the season, a homely feel, cold beer and tasty, home cooked food are guaranteed.

Menus are small but perfectly formed, with a selection of small plates, comforting pasta and mouthwatering meat dishes fresh from the grill.

We reckon you can’t go wrong starting with the spinach and ricotta wontons before sinking your teeth into a flintstone steak with onion rings, fries, slaw and your choice of sauce.

Whet your whistle with a selection of bottled and tap beers or perhaps an ice cold Peroni on tap, as well as refreshing serves such as Spiced Whiskey, Pimms and local wines. Iced chocolate milk finished with whipped cream and marshmallows is sure to keep little monkeys quiet too!
