The Chef's Table

Your front-row seat to the most impressive gastronomy in Wanaka, The Chef's Table offers an ever-evolving dining experience for anyone who has a deep appreciation for fine food.

Having closed for a short while, The Chef's Table is back and looking better than ever before. Occupying the Main Hall in the majestic venue that is Rippon Hall, they're keeping guests warm and toasty during the winter months with a roaring open fire amongst the rustic, farmhouse-inspired interior. During summer, guests can immerse themselves in the stunning natural surroundings outside on the patio.

One of the best things about Chef's Table is that they offer a constantly changing menu. Where no two meals are ever the same, you can try new seasonal combinations on each visit. Right now, their menu is giving some serious winter warmers with local ingredients like dijon crusted breast of lamb, wild mushroom arancini with black aioli, zaatar rolled labneh balls and seared chilli lemon and garlic squid.

The mains are also giving wintery magic with rare roast eye fillet with red wine braised shallots, pot roasted pork shoulder served on a root vegetable puree or a hearty smoked seafood and prawn chowder. Feel free to add on some sides too; with the likes of roasted agria spuds, sauteed chorizo with buttered lentils, curry roasted cauliflower and a winter kale salad on the menu, you can hardly resist the inevitable food coma. And that's before we get to the dark chocolate brownie and towering ice cream sundae...
