Beach Babylon

Beach Babylon has been serving up brunch, lunch and dinner to happy customers since 2004. Situated in Oriental Bay, Wellington's most beautiful street, this retro beachside café & restaurant offers fabulous food and drink all year round, boasting Wellington's largest waterfront deck where you can enjoy the stunning ocean views. Breakfast features scrumptious classics such as smoked salmon with poached eggs, bacon and eggs, and fresh omelettes paired with Peoples’ coffee and organic teas.

For lunch, tuck into irresistible nourishing salads packed with goodness or tuck into scrumptious dishes such as beef strips marinated in soy and honey or fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce. Dinner is an indulgent affair with a focus on street-style sharing plates. Start the feast with haloumi fritters, BBQ pulled pork bao buns or seafood ceviche before moving on to the organic buttered vegetables, grilled ribeye steak or roasted market fish served with homemade fries and orange, fennel and pistachio salad.

The drinks menu includes a fine range of cocktails, mocktails, wine and craft beers. For something refreshing, try “Summer Time” with Cointreau, orange juice, lemon juice and cranberry juice or for something a little different, sip on a charcoal s'mores martini.
