Walking down Wellington's popular Featherston Street, the glittering gold letters spelling out 'Otto Champagneria & Beer Hall' immediately catch your eye. As the name suggests, this is no ordinary watering hole! Instead, it's an upscale establishment with a distinctly European feel. Otto's atmosphere embodies that of a Grand Parisian café; shining tiles span from walls to floors, and a champagne crate ceiling gives a nod to the traditional wineries of Champagne, France. Bottles decorate a full-service cocktail bar, and they are filled with refreshing craft beer from some of the best boutique breweries New Zealand has to offer.

So what about that twist? Well, apart from its chic take on European décor, Otto certainly continues to be as inclusive as it is glamorous, with one even being lucky to spot a dog in the venue one evening.

At brunch, the restaurant hosts "Boujee Brunches"! Perfect for lazy weekends when you may want a little slice of indulgence, Eat brunch like a Queen with Otto's large share platters filled to burst with good things. On offer are delights such as fried calamari with wasabi mayo and even plant-based chorizo in a cider sauce with sliced apple and every imaginable vegan treat! On the drinks menu, there is also a selection of brew-based cocktails.

And it doesn't stop there. Sharing plates to indulge in span fresh and crispy fried calamari to the juiciest oysters with red wine vinaigrette and also something a little different. Try the three sliders, which include a wild beef patty paired with Habanero and tomato jam, cheese, and onion. What a combination!
