The Garden Shed

Hand-picked and hand-prepared with care, The Garden Shed serves wholesome plates that combine fresh, local produce and support sustainability in every sense of the word. Everything from their bread to their stock is lovingly made in house.

It will come as no surprise that plants and vibrant greens are at the epicentre of this lively establishment. Indeed, there might be more plants in their dining room than in their awesome patio (that is akin to a jungle, we might add!). Complete with quaint gardening equipment on the walls, rustic wooden chairs and plenty of fresh veggies to scoff, who says you need to go to the countryside to get your nature fix?!

The menu is a colourful celebration of everything healthy, nutritious and delicious and each dish adds something extra that you won't find anywhere else. With the crispy pork belly comes some sublime additions like a burnt onion puree and a vibrant bowl of chimichurri while the lamb ragu is accompanied by a hand-rolled pappardelle, lemon pangrattato, and grana padano. Vegetarians are well and truly looked after; there's an adorable-sounding veggie patch dish, a crunchy mixing pot of garden greens, tangy cherry tomatoes, salty halloumi and smashed avocado (no dish is complete without it!) There's also a creamy mushroom risotto to tuck into as well as pansotti with spinach and ricotta. Then sit back, relax let the cool surroundings heal, replenish and revive you. Don't be surprised if you sign up to a five-week yoga course the next day.
