Located on the seventh floor in The MUSE Art Hotel in central Christchurch, you can just imagine this restaurant's incredible outlook. With views that stretch all the way to Port Hills, guests are treated to some of the best views of the city, and all from the comfort of Seven's elegant dining room. Like something out of cosmopolitan New York, the rich mahogany hues, grungy concrete walls and contemporary lighting afford it an irresistibly modern chic vibe. It's impossible not to fall for this place. Whilst Seven Dining does accommodate children, they are predominantly an adult venue. They do not provide facilities such as high chairs and changing tables.

The menu is centred around sharing, encouraging diners to reconnect with the people around them over sophisticated plates that herald fresh and seasonal produce. Never afraid to experiment and innovate, you'll find unlikely (but delicious) pairings prepared in all kinds of ways. From Poaka salami with pickled peppers to duck rillette, scallops anointed with a luxurious brown butter, Wairiri Stracciatella and South Island beef with a massaman beurre blanc, these plates are designed to spark conversation and push culinary boundaries.

To finish, the chocolate shiitake truffle keeps the surprises coming, whilst the raspberry cloud is as pretty as a picture and looks almost too good to eat. Equipped with a full vegan menu too, Seven Dining is for everyone who wants to tantalise their tastebuds with new and exciting flavours.
