Nanking Palace Restaurant offers a warm and authentic Oriental dining experience in Dunedin and has been serving traditional Chinese cuisine since 1963.

Nanking Palace Restaurant is the perfect place to catch up with family, friends and colleagues over traditional Chinese food. The name of our Chinese restaurant and décor is directly inspired by an Emperor's Palace. Each room in the restaurant seats a different amount of guests and represents a different palace room, each offering its own special ambience and charm.

Nanking Palace Restaurant is owned by Michael Hall and is a local family-run business. The menu boasts seafood, chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian options with the likes of chilli and salt king prawns, chicken and cashew nuts, sweet and sour pork, beef and black bean sauce and tofu and vegetable hot pot.
