Whether you’re looking to catch up with friends or for a family outing, this brand new bar and bistro is sure to be the perfect venue.
A short stroll from St.Kilda’s many glorious beaches, it is run by the team behind the much loved Black Dog cafe in Dunedin Central. Expect the same easy-going neighbourhood atmosphere, homely interiors and crowd-pleasing grub.
A large play area and dedicated kids’ menu makes this one perfect for young families, but grown ups will be as impressed by the food as they are. The eclectic menu really does have something for everyone, from seafood salads to fresh fish of the day and a wide selection of delicious meat dishes.
Not hungry enough for a main? The starters are a real strong point here. Mozzarella and parmesan croquettes in chipotle mayonnaise are gooey balls of delight, while the antipasto platter with homemade pickles is perfect for sharing.
Enjoy a small collection of quirky cocktails including the decadent ‘toblerone’, while little ones can join in with a colourful cup from the mocktails menu. Cheers to that!
