A proud part of Hamilton's hospitality ‘furniture’, Adriana's Caffe & Ristorante is officially the oldest restaurant in the city. The recipe for its success? Scrumptious contemporary Italian cuisine and that unmistakable family touch. It's been satisfying hungry diners for nearly 30 years and it shows no sign of stopping.

Inside the décor is refreshingly simple and unpretentious and the focus is on using the freshest local produce and the very best quality New Zealand and Italian imported ingredients in preparing their varied menu. Owners Anna and John (aka your new besties) have created a menu that'll satiate any craving. For starters, enjoy anything from a classic bruschetta, a crisp-fresh Atlantic salmon salad or one of their tasty entrée pasta dishes like ravioli di gorgonzola with toasted walnuts.

The main courses encompass everything from hearty pasta dishes including a mouth-watering traditional baked lasagne; daily fresh market fish fillets with a sensational parmesan, chardonnay and lemon crust; hefty prime NZ beef scotch fillet steaks or the speciality of the house "Pollo al Rosmarino" – whole roasted baby chickens (425 g), marinated in fresh garlic, rosemary and lemon juice.
